Texas Custom Painted Helmet
This Texas custom painted helmet was made for Collin Robb from Austin, Texas. Collin is a racecar driver, and he wanted a helmet that showed off his Texas pride. So, we did a full Texan custom helmet painting on his Arai helmet to make a cool custom painted helmet that really stands out on the track. Our first “Don’t Mess With Texas” custom helmet theme.
I met Collin through another driver, Santino Ferrucci. I had done lots of custom painted helmets for Santino, and Collin really liked what he saw. So, he reached out to me to get a special custom painted race helmet of his own. We talked about a lot of cool ideas and decided to start with a Texas theme.
This Arai custom painted helmet is now full of bright, bold Texas style. We used the Texas flag and the USA flag on the sides of the helmet. On the front, we painted a big, fierce longhorn bull. The longhorn is one of my favorite parts of this whole custom Texas helmet. It just looks serious and evil.
On the back of the custom painted Texan helmet, we painted Yosemite Sam. It gave the helmet a little humor and more Texas flavor! This automotive custom helmet really shows what Texas is all about—strong, proud, and a little wild.
We used special helmet airbrushing techniques to make the design look super smooth and sharp. We also let some of the carbon fiber shell show through the paint. Then, we added candy colors to make the reds and blues pop. When the sunlight hits it, the colors really shine. We even used holographic foil in parts of the custom helmet airbrushing, so it sparkles and shines with every move. It’s like the paint is dancing in the sun!
The top of the helmet has a big “TX” that looks amazing. When the sun hits it just right, the colors change and glow. You have to see it in person to understand how cool it looks! It’s one wild Texan themed custom painted helmet. The carbon, candy, and holograms help this custom airbrushed Texas themed helmet really stand out.
This custom painted racecar helmet will be traveling all around the world with Collin as he races different cars in different places. No matter where he goes, people will know he’s a proud Texan just by looking at his custom painted auto racing helmet. From street tracks to race circuits, this airbrushed racing helmet is ready to go fast, even just sitting on the table.

Making this custom airbrushed street helmet was so much fun. We got to mix Texas pride, racing style, and high-end art all into one awesome lid. Every detail was made with care, and it’s now one of my favorite custom painted helmets ever.
