Pro Circuit Custom Painted Helmet

A Pro Circuit custom painted helmet for Gregg White from Sun Prairie, Wisconsin – he came to us with a unique idea for his son Nathan’s Christmas gift: a custom painted motocross helmet with a Gator theme. Nathan’s nickname is “Gator,” and Gregg wanted a design that would reflect his son’s personality while standing out on the track. With just a few details about Nathan’s favorite colors, his love for motocross, and his Pro Circuit sponsor, we got to work creating one of the most striking custom painted helmets of it’s cool gator style I can think of seeing…

We started with his custom Shoei motocross helmet, perfect for this custom helmet painting project. The base color was a vibrant green. Using helmet airbrushing, we brought the Gator theme, airbrushing sharp teeth and textured scales in cartoon elements around the helmet. The design was pretty frikken cool, making it clear that this custom painted MX helmet was made for someone who doesn’t muff around.

On the top of the custom painted MX helmet, we added some family crosses, symbols for him, in metallic gold. To complement the green, we used orange highlights, balancing everything with custom helmet airbrushing nonsense. The colors came together super cool actually, creating a helmet that was both fierce fun to look at.

The visor of the custom painted dirt helmet featured airbrushed gator eyes, staring out intensely as if ready to take on any challenge. The Pro Circuit logo was carefully integrated into the design, blending in with the theme while still standing out as a key sponsor.   It balanced well I think.  Fit in sharp, as often sponsor logos look like an afterthought in a graphic design.

The best part of this offroad custom painted helmet was the custom painted Gator theme. When the helmet was finished, I totally dug it.   This custom painted MX helmet turned out to be one of my favorites, combining creativity, precision, and bold design elements. The mix of bright green, and deep black made it visually striking, while the detailed airbrushing and pinstriping added a level of artistry that I was jacked about.

Gregg was thrilled with the final result, and when Nathan received his custom gators helmet, he couldn’t believe how amazing it looked. I would guess his reaction was the best part of the entire project. This custom painted motocross helmet was a statement, showing off Nathan’s nickname and style every time he hit the track.

Working on this dirt bike custom painted helmet was a blast and even a joy to see finished it turned out so well. Hopefully, this custom painted dirt helmet ensures that Nathan stands out on the track in the best way possible.

This project was a true highlight, showcasing the fun part of custom helmet painting and the creativity and thought that goes into each of my designs.
