This was a very special custom painted helmet. A Lewis Hamilton helmet trophy, custom painted to specific ideas and direction. It took a long time to finish, but it was worth every hour. This design was requested by an undisclosed person who asked not to be identified.  With a signed NDA, we started the custom helmet painting process, and ended up with a very flashy and meaningful trophy.

This custom painted Lewis Hamilton Trophy helmet was partially designed to honor an amazing racing career. The person who asked for it wanted the helmet to look like Lewis’s standard racing helmet design, but also have a special tribute feel to Lewis.  The lengthy custom helmet airbrushing process brought it to life eventually.

This custom painted auto racing helmet had a lot of bright colors. Purples, chartreuse, yellows, and rainbow glitter. Some parts of the custom race helmet trophy had holographic foil incorporated. This made the colors look like they move when you turn the helmet in the light. That’s part of what makes helmet airbrushing creative and challenging.

There were so many layers of paint on this custom airbrushed Lewis Hamilton helmet. This kind of custom airbrushed helmet takes a lot of time and love. This custom Lewis Hamilton F1 Trophy helmet turned out a shock to the receiver.

The custom airbrushed Lewis Hamilton helmet trophy had detailed shapes and glowing colors. I added shadows, sparkles, and little lines to make it look dancing and sharp. Every spot on the helmet had something special. The purple shades looked smooth and bold, fast with movement.
