Custom Painted Shotgun -Trump MAGA

Tim Denny, a veteran trap shooter from Mount Juliet, Tennessee, wanted to surprise his friend with a special gift. He asked for a custom painted shotgun that would show love for America and support for Trump. Tim gave a few ideas: including a USA theme, red, white, and blue colors, an eagle, and a MAGA clay pigeon. He trusted me to use my creativity and make it look slick.

I started the custom gun painting by choosing bold red, white, and blue colors to represent the American flag. the custom shotgun airbrushing part was not as much of a challenge as the prepwork of the knurling, but I carefully painted stars and stripes along the fore and stock. The stripes lined up perfectly from the stock to the fore-end, creating a smooth and unified look.

A fierce eagle, symbolizing strength and freedom and anger I guess, on the butt of the stock… The eagle’s sharp eyes and Napoleon Dyno Talons were painted using custom helmet airbrushing techniques to bring it to life. On the same right side, I painted a clay pigeon with “MAGA” written on it, adding a unique touch to this custom painted MAGA shotgun, making it look fast and moving forward with the pissed off eagle.

To finish, three coats of protective PPG Envirobase clear coat over the entire custom airbrushed shotgun, and color sanding in between for a perfect finish. This not only made the colors shine but also protected the artwork from wear and tear, and the flat color sanded finish after the final two coats made perfection. The result was a custom painted 12 gauge that looked stunning and patriotic.

Tim’s friend was thrilled with the custom painted competition shotgun. The design stood out, and even country singer Blake Shelton admired it when he saw it.
