Custom Painted Helmet -Shi comics

This custom painted helmet -Shi comics was made for a very special customer named Kristina Lee from New York City. She asked us to create a one-of-a-kind custom painted motorcycle helmet, and we were excited to bring her idea to life. Kristina wanted her street bike custom helmet to feature her favorite comic book character—Shi, from Shi Comics—along with a beautiful Japanese theme.

We started the project with a brand new Arai helmet, which is perfect for custom helmet painting. Kristina told us she loved the Shi Comics character because she is strong and brave. She even looks just like Kristina! So, we painted Shi on the back of the helmet using detailed helmet airbrushing. This became a bold and powerful part of the design.

All around the custom painted street bike helmet, we added elements from Japanese art. There was a rising sun off the side. These shapes were made using smooth helmet painting techniques. The rays from the sun stretched across the helmet and looked sharp and sinister against the black background.

Kristina also asked us to include special Japanese writing. These were words and phrases that meant something important to her. We placed these symbols carefully around the helmet, making sure they were clear and easy to see. They gave the custom airbrushed Japanese helmet a real sense of meaning and pride.  Each was hand pinstriped and highlighted and shadowed with care so that they stood out and looked 3 dimensional. We used metallic paints to make the colors pop and added shadows for depth. These extra details helped every part of the helmet stand out. It really made the custom painted helmet look alive.

This was not just any custom airbrushed street helmet—it was a mix of beauty, strength, and style. The custom painted Shi Comics helmet showed off Kristina’s love for comics and Japanese culture. It also showed off her fun and confident personality.

We spent many hours into the custom helmet airbrushing on this thing to make sure everything was perfect. The details in the Shi character’s hair, eyes, and costume were painted with care. The Japanese elements blended perfectly with the comic art. This made the custom Japanese Shi helmet look like a moving piece of artwork.

Kristina’s idea helped make this one of our most memorable helmets, for reasons OTHER than the fact that Kristina is just super HOTT…  We love doing custom painted helmets, but this one had a very special feel. From the start, Kristina had a strong vision. She knew what she wanted and trusted us to make it real. Her excitement helped make the project even more fun.

This helmet turned out to be one of the best custom painted street helmets we’ve done.
