Custom Helmet Painting -Panama Party
Without a doubt, one of my top memorable projects of the last year, a custom painted helmet for Cameron Proudfoot of Seattle, WA. Custom helmet painting “Panama Party” is the best title I could think of for this special lid. Cameron and his life long buddies get together every year for a Man’s reunion, and this last one, the all met in Panama. They all wanted to show special appreciation to Ralph, a main organizer of this trip and BRO’s project, so they asked me to custom paint him a new lid including all the boys, and what they love to enjoy when they get together… He described, “The FORUM 7 Logo was our old logo, and was a legacy logo and was good, but Ralph Chiocco the guy we are doing this helmet for, updated the logo (new F7 is 2 different colors). The CHIOCCO family logo is special to him and should be visible and maybe along the back of the helmet. The other pictures are just some ideas / pictures to send you way, but I think for the inspiration of the graphic/painting to focus on the things we did while in Panama, like smoke cigars, drink Ron Abuelo Rum, Pearl Island, Panama canal, US embassy, Guayabera style shirts and panama style hats, and maybe some of the tropical components of the country would also be cool.” Going back and forth with ideas with Cameron, we figured out a killer layout that would fly and match their ideas as well as their budget. I included close up images of their brand of drink, the deep bourbon colors in brown and gold Kandy in the graphics, and their cigars. This custom painted helmet was just so so sick. I really wanted to keep it.
