We started by looking at the original Ayrton Senna helmet design. The bold yellow base with green and black stripes is iconic and instantly recognizable. Using helmet airbrushing, we carefully recreated these stripes, making sure every detail was sharp and clean. This airbrushed helmet had no vinyl—just pure paint, better Senna’s original helmets. The stripes were adjusted slightly to flow with Ricardo’s Arai Vector 2 helmet, giving it a fresh look while staying true to the classic design.
The sponsor logos were an important part of this Ayrton Senna custom painted helmet. We hand-painted the BOSS, Marlboro, and Nacional logos, just as they appeared on Senna’s racing helmets.
