This custom painted Fighter Pilot helmet was one of the coolest custom, hand-built helmets I have ever seen.  This full Carbon Fiber, 2 piece helmet was hand built and designed by Scott Smither of Fontana, CA.  Working for a military helmet company,  Scott designed this prototype to be tested and reproduced.  He chose to have this first one to be custom painted with a USA theme, and his own name.  The finish of the actual carbon fiber and hardware was amazing.  I couldn't help but appreciate how many hours must have been put into hand building the shell.
